Pear Tree Greetings is known for their memorable birth announcements, baby shower invitations and kids' birthday party invitations and more. Created with designs from vintage chic to festive fun and printed on premium quality paper, their products are affordably priced.
They also carry super cute party decorations. It was pretty hard to decide but I went with the Mr. Mustache table decor and address labels and built the entire party table around them. You can customize colors, wording and even upload your own photos....and sidebar, wasn't he adorable? I uploaded his birth announcement and first birthday studio photos for the table decor items.
I am so over mustaches (that was sooo 2 years ago...sorry) and resisted the urge to do any further decorating with them. I couldn't change the ones in the table decor confetti though but it's all good because bowties was the name of the game.
I used them as wall confetti instead and paired it with a crepe paper bow tie garland I created using The Flair Exchange's easy tutorial. And don't think I wasn't obsessing over finding navy and mint crepe paper, because in my mind I would have alternated between the three colors.
I mixed and matched tassels from my existing The Flair Exchange garlands but you can order your own in these colors.
I absolutely LOVED how the wall confetti turned out! Of course, looking at pictures of the boy probably was part of that. They come in a deliciously big 5.5, 4.5" and 3" circles of quality cardstock for a total of 27 pieces per order.
Easy party food is always the name of my game. If men are involved, you can't be breaking out finger sandwiches and you can never go wrong with sliders. Set up a easy slider bar with toppings and condiments in small containers like my Pier 1 white porcelain spoons.
Just because they are sliders doesn't mean you can't still party them up with a custom skewer. I made my paper bows using this paper punch (I found mine at Paper Source) and added a pop dot for dimension.
I never tire of wooden candy sticks; get them party ready with a few ribbon ties for dipped marshmallows.
Of course you have to serve bow tie salad.
I'm still excited over my no sew bow ties...peek back at my Tuesday Tutorial for how to make them. Somehow, I must figure out another reason to make some more.
I turned the PTG address labels into thank you labels for the finishing touch on Chinese take out favor boxes wrapped with crepe paper streamer. Yes, I found them in streamers, not in sheets. I wanted to make more bows from the streamers, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out the bow tie tutorial using streamers. They never looked right.
Seriously, look how easy it is to make these favor boxes! I buy mine in bulk from Cash & Carry and let me tell you, it is the best party investment yet, since they are seriously overpriced at party and craft stores.
Remember, fabulous party decor doesn't have to be over the top, it's the little details that make it special. Of course, it was all made easier working with Pear Tree Greetings. The online customizing was straight forward and you can see exactly what your order will look like with its color and type. My order came in lickity split too, yeah!
Don't believe me? Here's your chance to get some party pretty for yourself because Pear Tree Greetings is graciously offering one of my readers a $50 credit for your next celebration!
No party on the horizon? That's ok, they have holiday cards, stationery, teacher gifts and more! Just enter below on Rafflecopter and be sure to read the terms and conditions. Good luck!
