So, I'm perusing my latest copy of FamilyFun magazine and in the article Manuals of Fun, they talk about a cute book and party-pack, Pajama Party in a Box by LittleMissMatched, and it's everything you need for a terrific sleepover. It has party and prep tips, recipes, everything you need for a fabu night. It's very girly, so I don't think my boys would appreciate it. But the whole thing got me thinking about wonderful products that I've seen to help streamline the entertaining process.
One-stop shopping is all the rage, especially with the cost of gas so high, going from store to store trying to save money is just no longer practical. Many sites like Celebrate Express , OTC and the granddaddy of them all, Birthday in a Box offer inclusive packages that have everything from invites to tableware and party favors.
Although I could never bring myself to purchasing one, ('cuz I could totally put it together myself for alot less) these are fabulous party kits from
Once Upon A Box. They have too cute themes like Astronauts and Aliens, PJs and Polka Dots, and the one pictured is Surf and Sand. It even comes with a photo album and a themed cookie-cutter.
I just love this Valentine Baking Party for Five to Go from Posh Party Box. It has everything you need for a fun baking party, playdate, or a girls' night in! How cute would everyone be in their chef's hats and aprons and their own baking set, that you can send everyone home with.
Over at Social Couture, they have wonderful packs from Red Dinner Party to Little Bohemian. I'm quite partial to the Vintage Baby Shower (must be all these boys I have).
And of course we cannot forget Our Lady of All Things Handmade's party kits that include this absolutely darling monkey party, that I so wish my boys could have been talked into. Even packaging it as a jungle party, they were so not having it.
